Two Royal Ascots: Racing at the Royal Meeting in 2025 and 2026

Royal Ascot is the meeting that measures a yard against the best sprinters in training — and the Al Leith Racing silks have now been carried there in two successive seasons.

2025: the Queen Mary

Four weeks before her Catterick stakes win, Miss Yechance took on the country's best juvenile fillies in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes. For a filly bought for £32,000 at the yearling sales, simply lining up at the Royal meeting in her first season was a statement of how quickly the operation's ambitions had grown.

2026: back at the Royal meeting

A year on from the Queen Mary, Miss Yechance returned to Berkshire for the Palace of Holyroodhouse Handicap on 19 June 2026 — a second Royal Ascot appearance, this time as a battle-hardened three-year-old with wins in England and Dubai behind her.

Between the two Ascots came a Listed-race education at Deauville, a full Meydan winter campaign and a Carnival victory. Two Royal meetings in two seasons is the kind of consistency this operation was built for — and we intend to keep the appointment.
