On 16 July 2025 at Catterick Bridge, Miss Yechance gave Al Leith Racing its first stakes success in England, taking the EBF Restricted Novice Stakes over five furlongs under Callum Rodriguez.
The build-up
The run came four weeks after the boldest move of her young career: a tilt at the country's best juvenile fillies in the Group 2 Queen Mary Stakes at Royal Ascot. Back among her own age group in Yorkshire, the form stood out — and the market knew it, sending her off the 4/6 favourite.

The race
Rodriguez had the filly away smartly and never gave her rivals a look in. Kicking clear inside the final furlong, she passed the post a length and a quarter to the good, stopping the clock at 59.12 seconds for the five furlongs.
It was her second win from as many completed starts in Yorkshire, following her debut success at Redcar in May — and the first black-type page entry for a filly who would go on to win at the Dubai Racing Carnival the following winter. The £32,000 Goffs yearling was already repaying the faith.
