Next Mile Stakes

Miss Yechance signed off her first Dubai winter in the Next Mile Stakes at Meydan on 6 March 2026, running another fine race on the dirt to finish second — her second runner-up finish of the Carnival campaign.

Coming on top of her DP World Express Handicap win in January and her earlier second in the Lincoln Aviator Stakes, the run completed a remarkably consistent winter: three top-two finishes at one of the world's most competitive meetings, on both turf and dirt.

The campaign carried the stable to a place among the top five in the UAE Owners Championship for 2025–26. With the Dubai winter banked, attention turned back to the English summer — and a second visit to Royal Ascot.
