DP World Express Handicap

Carnival night at Meydan, 9 January 2026 — the highlight of Al Leith Racing's first Dubai winter. Miss Yechance, sent off at 18/1 for the DP World Express Handicap on the turf, came home in front under the floodlights.

The performance had been signposted for those paying attention. Weeks earlier the filly had finished a fine second in the Lincoln Aviator Stakes on the Meydan dirt, showing she had travelled well and handled the new surroundings. Switched to turf on Carnival night, the market still let her go off at big odds — and she made it pay.

An English-trained filly winning at the Dubai Racing Carnival was exactly the cross-continental result this operation was founded to chase: a first Carnival winner for the silks, the third win of Miss Yechance's career, and a night nobody at Al Leith Racing will forget.
